Balcony & terrace service

Consultation - We can do this whichever way works best - any combination of phone/video call, email or visit.

For balconies, unlike gardens, I can sometimes work with photos and measurements, plus a bit more info, such as, which floor your balcony is on (or how high), which direction it faces (if you know), whether it's shaded by trees or buildings etc.

How will you use the space? We'll discuss this, plus what you'd like in terms of style and amount of planting (if you know).

Maintenance - All living plants need some maintenance and it's worth it! Lower maintenance planting is possible - we'll discuss what suits you and whether you'll have a gardener.

You receive a design proposal either by email or video call, your choice. This covers:

• Plants: named species and varieties suitable for your space.

• Beautiful pots and containers where your plants can thrive. No tiny plastic pots here. 

• A sketch (optional) - this can help you visualise the finished balcony, fully planted with furniture in place.

• Timeline for ordering and installation: I order everything for delivery to your address.

I can help you find quality garden furniture to suit your chosen style.

Used sparingly, garden lighting can enhance rather than overpower your space. I can help you select the right products and put you in touch with an electrician to install them.

If you're short on time I can order all items for delivery to your address on convenient dates.

Plants are typically delivered on the day of planting, so that I can check their condition at delivery.

On a date agreed with you, I plant and water everything, install the irrigation and leave it neat and tidy. Typically a single day.

I'll also talk you through how to care for it, if that's what you want. I can help find a garden maintenance firm, if needed.

There's nothing more to do except to enjoy your beautiful new garden. ​
