West-facing terraces with space to sit or have a family meal. As much planting as we could get away with. Perfect for sun-loving plants and people.

Tired decking was replaced with natural stone and gravel, imaginatively laid and interspersed with low-growing thyme.

The existing yellow-brick wall, fence and pergola were incorporated into the new design, saving money and materials.

The previous decking and steps had towered over the rest of the garden. We lowered the terrace and added new user-friendly steps to link both areas and restore the line of sight from the house.
